GLP-GEP: Field Studies

The working group currently has around 25-30 members who meet once a year. The diverse questions relating to the topic of GLP/GEP and field studies are discussed intensively and illuminated from various sides. Although this group has existed since 1996 (first meeting with 15 participants), nothing has changed in terms of lively participation. The problem of different test locations within a test has always been an issue for field studies. Therefore, the OECD Consensus Document No. 6 (The Application of GLP Principles to Field Studies) is the “precursor” to the OECD Consensus Document No. 13 (Multi-Site Studies). Nevertheless, the organization, communication and the effects of the “new” document remain a very interesting topic and usually form the focus of the lively discussions.

But also topics related to electronic data collection, GEP, archiving, current official inspections and many other interesting topics offer a basis for fruitful discussions.

Members of the GQMA can consult the minutes of the meetings in the members area – but keep in mind that this can only be a summary and cannot reproduce the interesting and helpful details. To do this, you must already be a member of the working group and attend the meetings regularly.
